The CRPS/RSD foundation was started because I saw the need to help people who have chronic pain as there is not much help. I met Ian in 2015 and I saw the struggle he was facing with just finding a place to live or even a doctor. He was struggling with his daily living and within 4 days after meeting him I decided that I can do something. I moved in with him and became his caregiver. It was the best choice
After scouring the internet to get as much information and help as I could I started a Facebook page to help spread the word and helP other suffer's and families deal with how crippling CRPS/RSD is. When I started my facebook page in March of 2014 there was not alot of help for Canadian's with CRPS/RSD and I was determaned to not only help myself but to help other's and their suffering families. In the first 4 year's of my fight with crps was hard. I not only lost my job i lost my way of life as I was always into heavy/physical labour jobs. I was a trained carpenter and building manager who did small custom fabrication jobs. Not including having my girlfriend of 11 year's, her daughter and mine breaking up in major part do to my chronic pain. I have personaly seen and lived what this is like. that is why our foundation is working hard to help make sure that other family's don't feel the same thing. We are all united in the same fight.
On our site we will be updating all the time with thing's pretating to Treatment, Information, and a blog where we are able to keep in contact with everyone aside from our facebook page's. i would like to say thank you to all of our sources for information, this why we offer most of our information in button format. this helps to show them how much we thank them for their help.

"After year's of not getting any help at all from WSIB and Ontario Works. I came accross the CPRS/RSD Foundaton and they where able to help get me the moblity scooter you see me on, but they where able to get it donated to me. They were also able to get any repair's that need to be done for free. If it was not for them I would not be able to get to where i need to . Thank you."
